1) Project Wet

- This is a great program that trains teachers how to teach about issues around water. You are also provided with a book full of lessons and ideas that you can do to help teach students about the issues around water.
2) Project Wild
Canadian Wildlife Federation (2006).Project Wild. Ontario: Council for Environmental Education.
- This is a great program that trains teachers how to teach about the issues around animals. With this program you are provided with a book full of lessons and ideas that you can use in your classroom to help teach students about animals and how we can take care of them.
3) Flying Wild

- This is a great program that trains teachers how to teach about birds. With this program you are provided with a book full of lessons and ideas that you can use in your classroom to help teach students about birds and how we can take care of them.

- This is a greathelp in Saskatchewan for young kids. I was apart of the program that trains teachers howgrowing up and got to go on trips to teach aboutponds in the cold. With thisfield and look at the bugs, ducks, plants, etc. They also have a program you are provided with a book full of lessonsjust like Project Wet and ideasWild but is called Project Webfoot that provides teachers with many activities that help you can use in your classroom to help teach students about the winter.wetlands.

- This is a program that works to help improve the public education system in American Classrooms. One of the parts that they want to improve on is getting students to better educate schools on the environment. The site also provides you with resources to help you teach about the issues around the environment.

- This is a program for youth who get together and promote awareness and positive change towards the environment. The site also provides teachers with many lessons that they can use in their classroom to help students learn about the environment and to get them excited to learn and maybe become apart of programs like this one.

- This is a great site for teachers as it provides many resources and lessons to help you teach students about the environment. It also provides you with parks and historical places that you can take students to teach them about the places that are in Canada. There are also places for students to go and play interactive games that teach them about the parks and our environment. The site also provides you with links to other areas that can help you to teach about the environment. The other great thing about this website is that you can give the link to parents and they can go on and explore what it has to offer and maybe give them ideas for summer vacations.

- This is another great site, which is similar to Parks Canada. The part that I find is useful for educators is when you go to the take action link on the site. When you look around there are resources and lessons for teachers to help them teach about the environment. There is also a place where it teaches you ways in which you can reduce your impact in areas such as: energy, water, waste, pollution, etc. Another great part about this site is that parents can go to it and help their children be involved with the community and at home to help reduce their impact on the environment.

- The part that is important for educators, unless you plan to teach in Toronto so you can take your students on field trips, is that there is a part called adopt a pond link which takes you to resources about wetlands. It provides you with a wetland curriculum that gives you different ideas about how to teach students about wetlands. The site talks and teaches you about the different types of animals that life in the wetlands and focuses in on some of these animals. It also provides a list of links to places around Canada and internationally that can help you teach about the wetlands.
4) Royal Saskatchewan Museum

- This is not only a great place to take your students on a field trip but it is also a great site to go to. It provides you with information about the different galleries that they have as well as places for teachers and parents to take children to play interactive games that teach them about the environment. It is a great place to go if you are planning a trip to the museum as you can do some teaching before you go to help prepare students about some of the stuff they may explore.
5) Science Center

- The science center in Regina is one of my favorite places in the city as it is a great place to take students to learn about different aspects of science. It is a hands on experience that many students will enjoy. There is something for everyone and many of the exhibits will blow your mind. When you book a trip with a class someone will take your students around and teach them about each of the exhibits. The teacher is really just their to supervise.
6) Wascana Bird Sanctuary
- The Bird Sanctuary that is looked on the trail around Wascana Lake is another great place where you can take kids. They have a variety of birds that stop by and hang around for awhile. You can teach students about the birds that they will see and when you go their they can identify them.

- Nature Watch is a great site for teachers to visit as it provides you with guides and packages to help you teach about plants, frogs, worms and ice. It gives you different ways how to teach about each you just have to download the free book and it gives you many lessons about each.

- This is a wiki that was created with a list of different places that teachers can go to get ideas and resources for teaching about the environment. Teachers do not know everything so why not bring someone into the classroom who is a specialist in their area of work to teach you about it. This will make the learning real and more beneficial for the students.

- This is a great environmentalist who cares about the environment and is promoting people to have a positive impact on the environment. He has many resources out to help teachers learn about themselves and teach students about the environment.
